Happy Family

Empowering families

to take control of their health

Alisha Freydenfeldt
Doctor of Chiropractic

Originally from Northern California, Dr. Freydenfeldt moved to New Hampshire to move closer to her husband's family.  She completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at American Military University prior to starting Chiropractic school.  Dr. Freydenfeldt graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California in 2019.

While in school, Dr. Freydenfeldt enjoyed learning about the body’s innate ability to heal from the inside out as long as there was no interference. She is a 4th generation chiropractor, but Dr. Freydenfeldt took a lot of what she knew growing up for granted. When she was a kid, she was adjusted regularly, ate healthy and stayed active. This recipe allowed for her to have a healthy and thriving childhood. After joining the military at the age of 19, it was easy to stop making healthy life choices and over time, Dr. Freydenfeldt started paying the price. She distinctly remembered reaching into her purse one day for a medication and realized she had 8 different prescription and over-the-counter medications in her purse that she was normally taking every day. It occurred to her that none of this was keeping her “healthy” and that she was suffering from diagnoses that were manageable through proper diet, exercise and chiropractic care. Dr. Freydenfeldt was experiencing regular migraines, low back and foot pain, digestion problems, anxiety, sleeping difficulty and was unable to conceive after months of trying. This was a turning point for Dr. Freydenfeldt, and she decided to leave the comfort of her military family and go to Chiropractic school to learn how people can heal and recover from all of these common (but not normal) diagnoses.

While in school, she made a lot of diet and lifestyle changes that lead to an improved quality of life. Dr. Freydenfeldt is still healing because these processes take time, but she doesn’t have to rely on drugs to survive the day anymore and is now living a drug-free lifestyle, is now the mom of a fun and energetic two-year-old boy and is excited to help empower other moms and families to take charge of their own health decisions. What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is the largest natural health profession in the world that focuses on finding the root cause of your health concerns.  Your body has the an innate, or inborn, ability to heal, as long as your nervous system is able to support this natural ability.  Chiropractors focus on restoring and maintaining the health and integrity of your spine and nervous system by providing gentle and specific Chiropractic adjustments.

Every function of your body is controlled by your nervous system, from your stomach digesting food to your lungs breathing.  Your nervous system is housed by your spine, and any time the integrity of your spine is challenged, it can cause interference of your nervous system, impairing your bodies ability to function.  The adjustment returns

Your health is both directly and indirectly controlled by the nervous system and any interference or instability within this system impairs normal function and lowers resistance to disease. The chiropractic adjustment restores the spine to a more functional and stable position which in turn allows the nervous system to function more effectively. When the spine and nervous system are operating at a higher level, this enables the body to function at a more optimal level and to heal through its own natural recuperative powers.

Chiropractors are highly skilled in the art of adjusting all of the joints of the spine which reduces the effects of chronic or acute trauma and biomechanical instability. The adjustment is a gentle and specific maneuver which can be applied effectively and safely to people no matter their age.

The Pure Chiropractic Difference

Dr. Freydenfeldt’ passion is to empower pregnant moms to make their own informed decisions about birth and taking care of their children. There are so many interventions today in the birthing process and it is her belief that so many of them can be unnecessary due to lack of empowerment for moms and fear of the birthing process. The human body was created perfectly and has the potential for an uncomplicated and beautiful pregnancy and birth. Daily stresses create imbalances in the pregnant body that can cause unnecessary downsides to pregnancy.

While pregnant with her son, Dr. Freydenfeldt received regular chiropractic care and was able to have an uncomplicated pregnancy that was free of the common (but not normal) back pain, uncomfortable carrying of belly weight, waddle and other issues. It was so empowering to be able to truly enjoy the pregnancy process and Dr. Freydenfeldt noticed that this is not common in today’s society, and it saddened her. Additionally, her father, who is also a chiropractor was able to attend the birth of her son. He was able to adjust her as needed through the birthing process and she was fortunate to have a 4-hour active labor process with minimal back pain. It was amazing to see how each adjustment aided the birthing process to progress to the next phase and lead to a healthy and natural delivery of her beautiful son.

Dr. Freydenfeldt believes that all moms should have access to chiropractic care in the pregnancy process and she is excited to bring prenatal chiropractic care to the greater Concord area.

I have been to a chiropractor in the past, but never one as compassionate and who focuses on the whole body system. This has been life changing for me. I know that the body and mind are connected and the way that Alisha explains this and takes the time to correct issues is so important. I feel supported and at ease when I step into her office. Thank you Alisha
