Doctor of Chiropractic
Hi, I’m Dr. Alisha Freydenfeldt, but don’t worry about pronouncing my last name… I go by Dr. Alisha in the office!
I’m a wife, mom and chiropractor. I understand the struggles of balancing a healthy lifestyle while keeping up with life and I am here to support you wherever you are on your health journey. I strongly believe in the power of love and kindness and that now, more than ever, we need community and connection to help us succeed in life. My purpose in life is to create a healthy and happy environment for my two boys and being a positive role model for them. I am fueled by my passion to make positive and lasting change in the community as well as lots and LOTS of caffeine… oh, and chiropractic! I have a husband named Blake, two sons named Grayson and Jackson and two fur babies named Henry and Oliver. Oh, and we are recently chicken parents too!
I’m a California native but moved to New Hampshire in 2019 to join my husband’s family and have fallen in love with the area. I am a “chiro kid” meaning I come from a long line of chiropractors and grew up getting adjusted since the day I was born. When I was a kid, I always wanted to be a chiropractor, but then in a twist of fate I joined the Air Force when I was 19 to travel the world and see what I could do out on my own. After a series of health challenges, I was pulled back to chiropractic care where I rediscovered my love for the profession and made the decision to go to chiropractic school. While in school, I became pregnant with my first son and got to experience firsthand the benefits of chiropractic care during pregnancy. This is what sparked my passion of taking care of pregnant mamas and babies! I am a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) where I’ve completed hundreds of hours in prenatal and pediatric training and received my certification in the Webster technique. But don’t worry, I take care of a lot of athletes and dads too! Daily stresses take a toll on our body, and everyone can benefit from chiropractic care.
I graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2019. Prior to attending chiropractic school, I graduated from American Military University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
I’m so excited that you’re here and I hope to meet you and your family soon!
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is the largest natural health profession in the world that focuses on finding the root cause of your health concerns. Your body has the an innate, or inborn, ability to heal, as long as your nervous system is able to support this natural ability. Chiropractors focus on restoring and maintaining the health and integrity of your spine and nervous system by providing gentle and specific Chiropractic adjustments.
Every function of your body is controlled by your nervous system, from your stomach digesting food to your lungs breathing. Your nervous system is housed by your spine, and any time the integrity of your spine is challenged, it can cause interference to your nervous system, impairing your body's ability to function.
Your health is both directly and indirectly controlled by the nervous system and any interference or instability within this system impairs normal function and lowers resistance to disease. The chiropractic adjustment restores the spine to a more functional and stable position which in turn allows the nervous system to function more effectively. When the spine and nervous system are operating at a higher level, this enables the body to function at a more optimal level and to heal through its own natural recuperative powers.
Chiropractors are highly skilled in the art of adjusting all of the joints of the spine which reduces the effects of chronic or acute trauma and biomechanical instability. The adjustment is a gentle and specific maneuver which can be applied effectively and safely to people no matter their age.

I felt better after day one. Sleep is greatly improved as has my attitude and pain level. I am so pleased with my progress!
I have been to a chiropractor in the past, but never one as compassionate and who focuses on the whole body system. This has been life changing for me. I know that the body and mind are connected and the way that Alisha explains this and takes the time to correct issues is so important. I feel supported and at ease when I step into her office. Thank you Alisha
